Homework from Gratitude Journey 15 February 2024
Looking in the mirror seeing how I am evolving mentally, physically and spiritually. Reaffirming what God has already said about me and not doubting is key to my journey. I have placed affirmations on my mirror so it can be in plain view. Looking in the mirror, I had to reintroduce myself to me. When you lose your identity it's hard to face the real you. Facing how I got here in this moment and why did I take detours to allow hurt, pain and unnecessary disappoints to even exist. Fast forward, now baby, I am getting back on track and the new renovated me is blossoming. I told myself in the mirror "you can do this" and guess what, I AM!
Thank you Pastor Ylawnda and my Hope Mates.❤️
Good Morning Janet Rivers
When i looked in the mirror i saw alot of pain from the past and hurt but through this journey of intrepid hope I have learned with much prayer and with our weekly affirmations it has helped me to let go of the past and to keep going by putting one foot in front of the other, I am strong and i can do it , i am good enough to be loved, beauty is what we walk, beauty is when you can forgive when still broken, beauty is ones ability to see beyond the hurt you have endured and stand in the truth of who i am. I will stop running from pain God won't let me fell.
YP Gratitude Journey - 2/15 - Look into the Mirror
As I look into this mirror, I see shadows of shame and guilt from my past experiences but through these shadows, I see The Light of Freedom!
The voices within my mind do not define me. I radiate with the essence of light, embodying resilience and wholeness. I am determined to Rise Up, allowing God's glory to illuminate my path.
I've embraced this rebirth, pledging not to let anyone hinder my progress. Committing to kindness and love towards my mind, body, and soul, I embrace the journey of self-care and nourishment.
In the sanctuary of prayer, meditation, soul-stirring music, and the supportive embrace of IHU, I find solace and strength. These sacred practices serve as fuel for my transformation, guiding me toward my true essence.
Sylvia, if I were anywhere near you, I would hug oh so gently like a mother does her baby! I applaud your commitment to self-care. I understand the use of the tools for transformation because, I see myself emerging as a beautiful butterfly that found its place. CONGRATULATIONS QUEEN! 💜
